Ice cubes to cool concrete
Ice cubes are needed during concrete production, mainly to reduce the temperature of the concrete mixture into the mold. In southern summer, when the ambient temperature reaches above 30 degrees, the cement temperature can reach 60 degrees, and the temperature of the sand and gravel is almost the same as the ambient temperature, so if no cooling measures are taken, the temperature of the concrete mixture produced by the mixing station will exceed the specification Limiting 30 degree requirement. Of course, according to practice, simply adding ice cubes is not effective in reducing the temperature of the concrete mixture.
